There shall be a Clerk to the USRC who shall be appointed by the President from amongst the SUASO members and approved by the USRC. According to SUASO Constitutin;
The Clerk shall be responsible for proper functions of the USRC proceedings as provided for the USRC rules and shall not be a member of the SUASO cabinet and judicial organ
The Clerk shall attend to the day to day activities of USRC office.
The provision of Article 48(4) b, shall apply mutatis mutandis to the position of the Deputy Speaker and the Clerk.
