There SUASO Vice President is the Principal Assistant to the President in respect of all matters concerning the students’ welfare and in particular shall Assist the President in making a follow up on the day- to-day activities,
plans and programs of SUASO. He/She is one of the signatories of the SUASO bank account where necessary.
Responsibilities
(1) Perform all duties and factions assigned to him/her by the president
(2) Perform all duties and functions of the office of the president when the president is out of office.
(3) The Vice president shall perform his/her duties under the directions of the President and shall be answerable to the President in respect of any matters of functions assigned to him by the President. The Vice President shall assume office in the same day the president assumes office.
(4) The Vice President shall hold office for a period of one year from the date he becomes a Vice President.
(5)The Provisions of Article 41 (1) (a) – (e) shall apply mutatis mutandis to the position of Vice President.
