This week, the Sokoine University of Agriculture’s community and other stakeholders from agriculture sectors are participating in the Sokoine Memorial Week to commemorate, celebrate and honor the life and legacy of the late Hon. Edward Moringe Sokoine, the former Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania who passed away on April 12th, 1984.
The Sokoine Memorial Week activities includes tree planting, scientific/academic presentation and exhibitions from within and outside SUA and the Agriculture and Agribusiness conference.
The main objective of the Agriculture and Agribusiness conference is to bring together strategic stakeholders of SUA to discuss and agree on how they can work together through win-win partnerships to enhance contribution of the agricultural sector to the national economy.
